Unlike a traditional machine sewn weft, microwefts are built to mimic the versatility of the handtied weft. Microwefts are machine sewn and the weft line is a thin silicone strip. There is no return hair or mustache hair that causes excess bulk and discomfort and you can cut them at any point and there will be no shed.

We have been testing this hair for many years and the average life span seems to be 8-10 months. However, with proper care and maintenance, we have seen many clients last 14-16 months! The hair itself will remain in great condition, but ultimately we have felt its been client personal preference to replace hair for a fresh or longer set

For someone with thin density looking for a little extra volume (no length) you can do as little as 3-4 wefts

Typical full length install will consist of 6-8 wefts

Ultimately this depends on the overall goals and total density of your client.

Per manufacture recommendations, we strongly suggest to only darken or tone and to never lighten it or else you can ruin the integrity of the hair.

We highly recommend choosing a line the is high in moisture, sulfate and paraben free. Our favorite product lines consist of Goldielocks and Oligo

Currently we offer 18 and 22 inch lengths. However if you need something shorter or longer you can submit a custom order request at info@meadowandmane.com

Our hair is of Mongolian decent which means it is the perfect marriage between Russian and Asian hair. It is a soft medium texture which blends with every canvas. Our hair represents the strong durability of asian hair, but the light fluffy texture of Russian hair.

In order to maintain a level of consistency while we grow, we will have designated shipping days on Tuesday and Thursday of each week. Shipping deadline for orders is 10am EST on either of those days

Our stock is located at Bloom Salon in Westport, Connecticut. You can choose local pick up during check out and then email us to arrange a date and time.

You can Return/Exchange the product within 30 days from the day of the receipt as long as the hair has not been worn, damaged, or removed from the original packaging. You will be responsible for any return/exchange shipping charges
